For designing Health Management System’s (HMS) white paper on subrogation services, our marketing team elected to focus on a specific insurance statistic pertaining to dog bites. A dog (that looked like it might bite someone) was prominently displayed. In the healthcare industry, this type of image was a far cry from the stock photographs of doctors, nurses and patients that typically adorn these types of documents.
For a second white paper on HMS’s workers compensation services, we made the decision to paint HMS as taking on the hero archetype. Worker’s compensation can be a thorny and costly area for companies, but HMS is here to save the day with state of the art technology and convenient solutions. Again, the concept of a super hero separated us dramatically from our competitors who were primarily using monotonous images of computers to sell their audiences on the concept of technological prowess.
The third white paper in this series was an additional take on HMS’s workers compensation services, and was intended to promote a feeling of celebration. The idea being that saving money is fun and exciting. Worker’s compensation can be a rather dense and lifeless topic at times, and a celebratory theme made purchasing HMS’s services seem less like a chore. Each of the three white papers were distributed at trade shows and are available for download on HMS’s corporate website.
